Hand crafted using speckled buff clay, mid-fired, using food safe glazes. This 12 oz. mug is hand painted on both sides. The red rose became a symbol of the English Monarchy during the 15th Century. King Henry VII later would propagate the Lancaterian red rose with the White Rose of York creating a Pink Tudor Rose to keep peace and harmony between families. This pattern is also known as Grand Mother’s Garden.
